ON-LINE DISCLOSURE

Lebanon Federal Credit Union (LFCU or we) and the below named member(s) (member or you) hereby agree as follows:

  1. Lebanon Federal Credit Union ePat On-Line Services
  2. Member hereby applies to Lebanon Federal Credit Union for Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line services.  In order to remain eligible for Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line services, member must remain a member of Lebanon Federal Credit Union in good standing.  The following transactions may be performed by the member through Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line:

      1. Transfers.  You may transfer funds among your Lebanon Federal Credit Union Share or Loan Accounts.
      2. Transfers done through Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line DO NOT immediately charge or credit your account.  Transfers will be effective the next business day after the date of such transaction.

      3. Additional Services.  From time to time, Lebanon Federal Credit Union will announce additional services which are available through Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line.  Your use of these services will constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions presented at the time they are announced.
      4. Access Limitations.  Lebanon Federal Credit Union reserves the right to limit the amount of on-line access per month or per session.

  3. Operating Systems
  4. Our iPat system is designed to operate using world wide web technologies and protocols which are adaptable to a wide range of systems.  The home banking section uses SSL encryption and requires a browser with a current (unexpired) Thawte Root CA Security Certificate.  We check your certificate and provide update information, if necessary, when you enter the iPat system.

  5. Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line PIN (Personal Identification Number)

You hereby acknowledge that you have reviewed and read the appropriate disclosure pertaining to Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line and agree to the terms of the disclosure.  You agree that use of Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line by other persons will give them access to any of your Share, Share Draft, IRA, Certificate and Loan Accounts.  Access to a member account will be by means of a member’s PIN.  You agree not to make your PIN available to any other person.  If you believe your PIN has been lost or stolen or that someone has transferred or may transfer money from your account without your permission, call 717-272-FFCU between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or write us at Lebanon Federal Credit Union, 300 Schneider Drive, Lebanon, PA 17046.

  7. Liability for Unauthorized Transfers

      1. Liability disclosure.  Your PIN allows only the transfer of money from within your member account.  You may only send a check to the address of you ( the member account owner ).  The owner of the member account has the ability to change PIN numbers on-line as often as you choose.  In the event that you believe someone ( an unauthorized third party) is using your PIN to gain access to your account information it is your responsibility to change your PIN.  Your PIN can be changed on-line or by calling Lebanon Federal Credit Union at 717-272-FFCU.
      2. If your statement shows transfers or withdrawals that you did not make, tell us at once.  If you do not tell us within sixty (60) days after the statement in question was mailed to you, you may be responsible for losses or costs incurred up to $50.00

  9. Charges

  10. Lebanon Federal Credit Union does not intend to charge a fee for this service.  We do, however, reserve the right to do so in the future and will provide 30 days advance notice to all users through the system.

  11. Statements

  12. All transactions generated by you through Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line and any Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line fees will appear on your monthly or quarterly statement.
     

  13. E-Statements

    I understand that Lebanon Federal Credit Union will notify me when statements are available.  I request Lebanon Federal Credit Union send my periodic account statements and disclosures electronically for retrieval by me from within my Lebanon Federal Credit Union home banking session. I further request that Lebanon Federal Credit Union discontinue sending me statements via postal mail service. I understand that current statement information will be available by the 5th day of each month. I may occasionally receive additional messages from the credit union. I have read and agreed to the Lebanon Federal Credit Union Home Banking Disclosure/Terms.

    I am authorizing the credit union to electronically provide any and all documentation related to the various products and services that I may request. I can withdraw my consent for any service at any time, either by contacting the credit union electronically or in writing.

    In addition to receiving my statements electronically, I may receive a paper statement by contacting the credit union office and paying the statement copy fee, then in effect, per paper statement. The current fee schedule is available at any credit union office location.

    I understand that the software and hardware necessary to view and print an electronic statement are listed below.

    Minimum Requirements For Viewing and Saving E-Statements

                        ●  You must be signed up as an authorized Lebanon Federal Credit Union Home
                             Banking user.

                        ●  Printer with ability to print Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

                        ●  Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 (or higher) Software.
     

  14. Our Liability

  15. If we do not complete a transfer to or from your account on time or in the correct amount according to our agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages.  However, there are some exceptions.  We will not be liable, for instance:

    • If, through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money in your account to make the transfer;

    • If the Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line equipment or software was not working properly and you knew about the breakdown when you started the transfer;

    • If circumstances beyond our control (such as fire or flood) prevent the transfer despite reasonable precautions that we have taken.

    We shall not be responsible for any other loss, damage or injury whether caused by the equipment, software and/or the Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line service, nor shall we be responsible for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages arising in any way out of the installation, use or maintenance of your equipment, software and/or Lebanon Federal Credit Union iPat On-Line, except where the law requires a different standard.  We do not make any warranties concerning the equipment, the software or any part thereof, including, without limitations, any warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or warranties of merchantability.

  16. Errors and Questions

In case of errors or questions about your electronic transfers, telephone us at 717-272-FFCU or 1-800-489-LFCU or write us at Lebanon Federal Credit Union, 300 Schneider Drive, Lebanon, PA 17046 as soon as you can.  We must hear from you no later than sixty (60) days after you learn of the error.  You will need to tell us:

    • Your name and account number;

    •  

      • Why you believe there is an error and the dollar amount involved;

      • Approximately when the error took place.

    If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within ten (10) business days.  We will tell you the results of our investigation within ten (10) business days and correct any error promptly.  If we need more time, we may take up to forty-five (45) days to investigate the complaint.

    If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation within three (3) business days after we finish our investigation.  You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation.

  18. Business Day

  19. Our business days are Monday through Friday. Holidays not included.

  20. Governing Law

    This agreement shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania.
