For children ages 12 and under, the Koalaty Savers Klub is a savings program that is designed to teach our young members the values of:
Saving Money Earning Interest Being financially aware
The Koalaty Savers Klub encourages savings by providing the children with prize incentives. Children will not only learn the importance of saving, but how to save. If your child already has an existing account with LFCU, the account can remain the way it is and we will just monitor the progress of the account in your child's Koalaty Savers Passbook. If a deposit is high enough to reach a number of savings levels, the saver will receive only the gift available for the highest level reached.
