🏆 Congratulations to our Lebanon Hometown Hero, Edward “Ed” Johnson!

A lifelong Lebanon resident, Ed has spent more than four decades serving his community. From mentoring young people as a Scout leader and supporting youth baseball as an umpire to his incredible dedication to the Union Fire Company and Lebanon City Fire Police, Ed has always answered the call to help others.

Since joining the Union Fire Company in 1980, Ed has devoted countless hours to protecting and serving his neighbors, never seeking recognition—just quietly showing up whenever his community needs him.

To celebrate Ed and thank him for his incredible service, we were honored to present him with a $1,000 Hometown Hero check, along with a basket of goodies as a small token of our appreciation. 🎁

Hometown Hero Award

Nominate your hero and they could be recognized in the community as Lebanon Federal Credit Union’s local hometown hero for 2026 and be awarded $1,000!

The “Hometown Hero Award” is presented by LFCU to an individual in our community who exemplifies the same vision and core values instilled in LFCU and the Credit Union moto of “People Helping People.”

This will be an annual award. Nomination period will be from July 1, 2026 – August 1, 2026. Winner will be announced before September 1, 2026.

Eligibility: Nominee must live, work (or regularly conduct business), worship, volunteer, or attend school in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, or York Counties, Pennsylvania, or if you have an immediate family member who is eligible for membership.
